Materials used.

Red Heart Baby Hugs. I think this yarn has been discontinued, but any size 3 yarn should work, or Caron Simply Soft size 4 seems to work up the same.

Size F (3.75mm) crochet hook.

Stitches used in US terms

Ch/ch          chain

Sc/sc           single crochet

Dc/dc          double crochet

Sl st/sl st      Slip stitch

Beginning corner stitch (ch 3 dc, ch 3, 2 dc)

Corner stitch (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc)

Pattern in US terms.

Ch 8, join with sl st to make a ring.

Row 1 ch 3, work 23 dc in ring. Sl st in top of ch 3 to join

Row 2 ch 5, dc in same stitch as join, ch 1, * skip two stitches, (dc, ch 2, dc in next stitch), ch 1* repeat from * to * six times. Sl st in 3^rd ch of ch 5 to join.

Row 3 ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in first ch 2 space. *sc in ch 1 space, (2 dc, ch 2, 2dc) in next ch 2 space* repeat from * to * six times. Sc in last ch 1 space, sl st in top of ch 3 to join.

Row 4 *3 dc, ch1, 3dc in next ch 2 space. 1 sc in sc of round 3. * repeat from * to * seven times. Sl st to join.

Cut thread. Finish loose threads.
